Salary: Grade 10, £46,579- £50,908 per annum.

We're on a journey to build a workforce reflective of our Borough.
We are committed to fostering diverse teams where everybody can bring their authentic selves to work and feel that they belong. If you want to work for a Council where everybody is encouraged to meet their full potential and make a difference in our neighbourhoods, we would love to hear from you!
Your role:
As Senior Venue Manager, you'll be at the heart of the day-to-day operation of Wigan Market at Fettlers, helping to bring the venue to life every day.
You'll lead from the floor, supporting colleagues, working closely with traders and ensuring visitors receive a warm, safe and welcoming experience. No two days will be the same.
From managing busy trading periods and supporting events to solving problems and keeping operations running smoothly, you'll be the person people turn to when it matters most.
It's an exciting opportunity to play a key role in one of Wigan's flagship regeneration projects while developing your experience in venue leadership.
About you:
We’re looking for a confident, hands-on leader who thrives in a busy customer-focused environment and enjoys being at the heart of the action. You'll be an excellent communicator, capable of building strong relationships with traders, colleagues and visitors alike, while remaining calm and decisive when challenges arise.
You'll have experience leading teams, a strong focus on customer service and high standards, and the ability to balance operational priorities in a fast-paced venue. If you're motivated by developing people, solving problems and helping create a destination that people love to visit, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
About us:
We are committed to developing our staff through onthejob training, mentoring and access to learning opportunities that help you build a longterm career in property services.
