Your role:

As a wake night support worker, you will have the confidence to make decisions and work without direct supervision. You will work with one staff member to support twelve customers in their own apartments throughout the night. You will have an understanding of Autism, challenging behaviour and complex health. You will ensure the safe running of the building through the night, maintaining a clean environment and maintain correct documentation. You may need to support customers at the hospital if an emergency happens.

You will be required to work on a rota basis which will include weekends, bank holidays and unsociable hours.

Shift starts at 9pm and end at 7am. Working 2 days, week 1 and week 2. Week 3 will be 3 days over the weekend.

About you:

You will hold an NVQ level 2/Care Certificate (or equivalent qualification) or have an equivalent level of experience. You will have excellent communication skills and an ability to work without direct supervision, maintaining a high standard of care. You must have the ability to support individuals with complex behaviours and have a consistent approach.
