Your role:
You will lead a Be Well community health improvement team within a defined locality, working closely with public health teams, NHS partners, voluntary organisations and local communities. You will manage a team of frontline staff (inclusive of a Coordinator, Community Link Workers, Care Coordinators and Community Health Improvement Coaches) ensuring high-quality, accessible services that address local health priorities. The role focuses on reducing health inequalities at scale by influencing settings and driving behaviour change through evidence-based interventions. You will receive strategic support from senior public health leaders and collaborate across a strong partnership network.
About you:
You are an experienced and motivated leader with a strong background in public health, health improvement or community services. You have excellent communication and partnership skills, with the ability to engage diverse communities and stakeholders. You are confident managing teams, using data to inform decisions, and driving service improvement. You are adaptable, proactive and committed to reducing health inequalities. Flexibility is essential, and you may occasionally work within community settings to better understand and respond to local needs.
