Your role:
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on individual to support the safe operation, maintenance, and presentation of railway and transport facilities. The role involves maintaining stations, platforms, rolling stock, support areas, and customer environments while ensuring high standards of safety, cleanliness, and reliability. You will provide excellent customer service, assist passengers with enquiries and ticketing, support operational activities, and help coordinate events and daily transport services. The position also includes contributing to site security, infrastructure inspections, health and safety compliance, and future service improvements to deliver a professional and efficient passenger experience.

About you:
We are looking for an individual with a good standard of education, strong practical and technical skills, and experience working within a railway, transport, or operational environment. You should be confident working independently and supporting the safe day-to-day running of services and facilities. Excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and follow safety procedures. Knowledge of Health & Safety practices, basic literacy and numeracy, and a proactive, reliable approach are required. Experience operating plant machinery is desirable, along with First Aid certification or a willingness to achieve this within an agreed timescale.
