Your role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Wigan Council’s Strategy and Innovation team at a pivotal time as we deliver our ambitious Progress with Unity missions. As a Transformation Project Officer, you will support the delivery of innovative projects and transformational change across the council, working with a wide range of services and partners. The role offers the chance to develop and apply project management, research and policy skills, helping shape new ways of working, improve services and support positive outcomes for residents, businesses and communities across the borough
About you:
If you are passionate about delivering positive change and making a real difference to communities, this could be the role for you. You will be highly organised, collaborative and motivated, with the ability to build strong relationships across services and partnerships. Confident in supporting projects and managing competing priorities, you’ll bring strong communication, research and problem-solving skills together with an eye for detail. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be keen to learn and innovate, and enjoy working with others to develop ideas, improve services and support transformational change aligned with our Progress with Unity missions.
