Salary: Grade 5, £24,148.44 - £26,593.53 per annum. £13.90 - £15.31 per hour

37 hours per week, term time (38 weeks +3) working 41 weeks per year

Your role:

As an Administration Officer, you will provide essential support across the Virtual School (VST), Elective Home Education (EHE) and Children Missing Education (CME) services. This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will maintain accurate records, coordinate information and support statutory processes. You will act as a first point of contact for enquiries from schools, professionals and families, arrange meetings, take minutes and support financial processes. Working across three services, you will play a key role in ensuring information is managed effectively to support outcomes for children and young people.

About you:

You will be highly organised, detail-focused and confident using a range of IT systems. You’ll have experience in an administrative role and be able to manage competing priorities while working to deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately. You will be flexible, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team. A good standard of English and maths is required, along with a willingness to learn and develop knowledge across education services.
