Salary: Grade 5, £26,824 - £29,540 per annum pro rata based on 37 hours per week
£13.90 - £15.31 per hour
1 position x 37 hours per week based at Ashton Leisure Centre
1 position x 8 hours a week (annualised)
1 position x 4.25 hours per week (annualised)
1 position x 2 hours per month (annualised)
These roles operate on an annualised hours contract. The hours will need to be worked flexibly to meet service needs. You may be required to work additional hours.

Your Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate Swim Teachers to join our aquatics team across all of our pools. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on helping people develop confidence and skills in the water.
You will deliver a high standard of swim teaching across a range of programmes, including educational lessons, Learn to Swim (LTS) programmes, Parent & Child sessions, and one to one lessons. Experience of teaching within Swim England’s Learn to Swim framework is highly desirable.

You are an approachable and positive role model with a fun, engaging teaching style and a genuine passion for swimming education. You have the ability to tailor your teaching to meet individual needs, ensuring every participant feels supported, encouraged, and challenged appropriately.
You bring flexibility and adaptability to your working hours and demonstrate a natural ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and prospective customers. With a confident, friendly manner, you put people at ease and create a welcoming environment for swimmers of all ages and abilities.
Above all, you have a proactive “can do” attitude and take pride in delivering outstanding customer experiencesno task is ever too much trouble.
