Are you a confident, customer-focused individual with a passion for theatre and live events?

We’re looking for a Box Office Assistant to join our dynamic team at the heart of the Assembly Hall Theatre. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while contributing to the commercial success of our venue.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing outstanding customer service via phone, email, and in-person
  • Supporting sales targets through upselling and proactive engagement
  • Encouraging and assisting customers in using digital platforms
  • Delivering accurate reporting to support the wider Culture team
  • Promoting offerings across TWBC venues including the Literary Festival and Ice Rink

 What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience or understanding of working in a customer-facing role
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented team player
  • Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office
  • Awareness of current and upcoming events at our venues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with customers
  • Confidence, tact, diplomacy, and empathy in customer interactions
  • A positive, “can-do” attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and resilient under pressure
  • Available to work evening and weekends across a 7-day working pattern
