About the Role
Join Trafford Council's Public Health Directorate and play a leading role in improving the health and wellbeing of our residents through high-quality drug and alcohol services. As Public Health Commissioning Manager, you will lead the commissioning, transformation and performance management of substance misuse services, working closely with NHS, voluntary sector and community partners. This is an opportunity to shape strategy, influence system-wide change, tackle health inequalities and deliver better outcomes for some of Trafford's most vulnerable residents. About You
We are looking for an experienced commissioning or public health professional who can demonstrate strong partnership working, programme management and stakeholder engagement skills. You will have experience of commissioning, service improvement or contract management within public health, health, social care or a related field. We are looking for someone who can use evidence and data to inform decisions, manage complex projects, influence a range of partners and deliver positive outcomes for residents. Strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills are essential, along with a commitment to reducing health inequalities and improving population health.
