About the Role
You will be responsible for completion of Medication Rounds also supporting the daily running of the whole service. You will be required to become a champion in a specific area of care this involves arranging in house training sessions for the staff team and putting on information events in your given area.
You will also support the team to work with in the regulations set out by Care Quality Commission.
You will be supporting the patients on admission welcoming them and providing them with information.
You will need to audit moving and handling equipment, infection control, health and safety and sensor equipment.
You will need to have computer skills and be confident using word documents.
You will undertake all training courses as required.
You will provide support to the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager as required and undertake all tasks conducive to the role.

About us
Ascot house provides a 24-hour intermediate care service for patients registered with a Trafford GP. The multi-disciplinary team provides Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work support as required. In addition a designated GP and local community services such as nursing, podiatry, dietetics and speech and language therapy, will provide support at the unit when required.
The unit provides care for patients medically well enough to be discharged from hospital but need short term therapy input and rehabilitation to allow them to return to their home address.
Ascot house provides 24 hour Discharge to assess service for 9 Residents who are Trafford Residents. The purpose is to complete a holistic assessment of the residents care needs for either return to their own home or 24 hour Residential home.
