About the Role

We currently have a fantastic opportunity within our Safeguarding Hub for a full-time Social Worker to support our ongoing development, contribute fresh perspectives, and help drive forward best practice and innovation within the team.

The Safeguarding Hub serves as the single point of access for all adult safeguarding referrals received by the Local Authority. It is responsible for screening incoming concerns, coordinating provider-led safeguarding responses, and addressing organisational safeguarding concerns. In this role, you will play an active and integral part in a dedicated safeguarding team, ensuring that all responses are proportionate, person-centered, and compliant with current legislative frameworks to effectively protect and support adults at risk.

The successful candidate will join a highly skilled, welcoming, and supportive team, working with adults at risk to deliver proportionate, person-centered safeguarding responses across Trafford in line with current legislation and statutory guidance. Previous experience in adult social care and safeguarding, along with a strong understanding of the relevant legal frameworks including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Human Rights Act 1998 is essential. You will benefit from regular professional and managerial supervision, as well as access to a wide range of training and development opportunities to support your growth and maintain your continuing professional development (CPD).
