We are recruiting for skilled vehicle technicians to join our Transport workshops

If you are passionate about keeping our fleet safe, reliable and roadworthy, committed to delivering high-quality maintenance services, and bring the relevant qualifications and hands-on experience, we would love to hear from you.

 

In this role, you will:

 

• Carry out scheduled servicing, repairs, diagnostics and maintenance on light commercial vehicles, HGVs, minibuses and plant equipment in line with manufacturer standards and legal requirements.

 

• Inspect vehicles to identify faults, prepare accurate reports, and ensure all work meets MOT and road traffic regulations.

 

• Maintain detailed service records, job sheets and parts usage logs using our workshop management system.

 

• Advise drivers and transport staff on vehicle condition, repair needs and safe operating practices.

 

• Work collaboratively within the workshop team to minimise vehicle downtime and ensure efficient workshop operations.

 

About You

 

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

 

• Essential qualification: Level 3 Light Vehicle or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent), plus valid MOT tester status (or willingness to work toward this).

 

• Experience requirement: Proven experience as a vehicle technician, with hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

 

• Knowledge requirement: Up-to-date knowledge of road transport legislation, health & safety regulations, and modern vehicle technologies and diagnostic tools.

 

• Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
