Exploitation Support Worker

If you are passionate about working with adolescents, building meaningful relationships and and bring experience of working in youth work or social care we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you will:

Work one-to-one with children who are at high risk of harm outside the home to build trusting relationships, do direct work around harm outside the home and offer support around diversion activities.

You will work closely with children's Social Workers and other partners to safeguard the children you work with, attending multi-agency meetings.

Offer Return Home Conversations with children who have gone missing, when necessary.
About You
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Experience of working with children and young people within a social care or criminal justice setting and all aspects of safeguarding

Knowledge and understanding of current issues and developments in working with young people and their families/carers particularly in relation to harm outside of the home.

Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
