Crisis and Resilience Administrator
Thanet District Council
Be the glue that holds our project together
We are looking for a really organised, proactive individual to join our Home Energy Advice Team (HEAT). While the Crisis and Resilience Officer is out in the community, you will keep everything running smoothly back in the office.
You will be the main point of contact for the Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) and will ensure that residents, partner organisations and the team are supported, coordinated, and connected.
The Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) is a new, key initiative designed to support vulnerable residents in Thanet who suffer sudden financial shocks (crisis - to be managed by the county council)) or need help longer term (resilience - to be organised through Thanet District Council). Our support will come in the form of home energy improvement measures. Our administrator will effectively drive the project, managing the processes that allow the team to reach the people who need help most.
This is a hands-on role. You will be the first point of contact for residents, acting as an ambassador for the Council.
You will also manage the Crisis and Resilience Officer’s diary and track that works are undertaken and paid for with your proven ability to handle sensitive data. You will also help us to spread the word about the help available through community engagement and by working with our communications colleagues on social media.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join Thanet’s wonderful working culture, while developing their professional skills in a role that makes a real difference to real lives.
We are looking for:
- A clear communicator, comfortable talking to residents and professional partners alike.
- Someone with a keen eye for detail.
- A fast learner with a &slshquot;can-do&slshquot; attitude, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- A great prioritiser, able to react to competing demands.
- A great team player.
