We are seeking a motivated and forward‑thinking Economic Development Officer to help deliver our ambitious Economic Development Strategy and support sustainable growth across the district.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in regeneration, skills development, business growth and inward investment, working with local businesses, landowners, developers, funding bodies and key partners to drive prosperity for Tendring.

As part of the Economic Growth and Enterprise Team, you will support the delivery of the Council’s priorities, including Tendring4Growth, by developing and implementing projects that stimulate economic growth and promote enterprise across the district.

You will work closely with indigenous businesses, start‑ups and investors, providing information, advice and guidance, administering business support funding, and helping to unlock development at key employment sites.
