Are you a Licensing Enforcement Officer looking for a new venture or fresh challenge?
Tendring District Council are currently in the process of looking for an enthusiastic, Licensing Enforcement Officer to join our established licensing team based in Clacton on a fixed term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about licensing and put this knowledge to use, undertaking a varied role.
The job involves actively implementing the Council’s policies on monitoring compliance and undertaking pro-active enforcement of all licensing matters within the District, and to support the compliance of anti -social behaviour legislation if it relates to licensed premises or the sale of alcohol.
The Licensing service is responsible for administering and enforcing a variety of licensing, registration and permit regimes, including those related to hackney carriage and private hire vehicles; alcohol, entertainments and late night refreshments; gambling premises and lotteries; charity collections; scrap metal, pavement licences and street trading.
You will need to be prepared to work with partners both external and internal to the Council and outside of normal office hours at evenings or weekends for which time off in lieu is given.
