Join us at an exciting time for Tameside Children’s Services as we develop our Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT). We are seeking an experienced and valuesdriven LADO to join us in a newly created, additional role designed to further strengthen our MACPT.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role at the, enhancing capacity, consistency and learning across partners. You will work alongside colleagues to ensure allegations against professionals are managed swiftly, fairly and with a strong childcentred focus.

As part of our commitment to strengthening the MACPT, you will:

  • Provide high-quality advice, oversight and coordination in managing allegations
  • Embed a culture of support, reflection and continuous improvement
  • Work collaboratively across agencies to drive consistency and robust decision-making
  • Contribute to learning, practice development and system resilience

You will be supported by the Service Lead for the MACPT with a comprehensive induction, ongoing training, and regular supervision to help you reach your full potential.

About You

You will bring experience as a LADO, or be an experienced social worker ready to take the next step in your professional development.
