Salary: Grade I. Scale 35 - £46,142 to Scale 37 - £48,226
Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Base Location: Tameside One, Ashton-under-Lyne
Assessment Date: Interviews and assessments will be held between 16th - 19th June 2026; you would only be required to attend one of the days.

We bring together councils, NHS bodies, police, fire services, housing providers, and sector partners to develop better, more efficient, and more citizenfocused services.
Our Yorkshire & Humber Digital Programme (YHDP) supports public service organisations across the region to improve their digital maturity, strengthen data capability, adopt shared approaches, and progress regional digital priorities through practical collaboration.
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Stakeholder Engagement Manager to lead engagement, collaboration, and community development across the YHDP programme. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and strengthen a highprofile regional initiative that supports digital and data improvement across Yorkshire & Humber.
Working closely with the YHDP Programme Manager and the wider iNetwork team, you will build networks, nurture relationships, and ensure that member organisations are well supported to engage with, influence, and benefit from the programme’s activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a stakeholder engagement plan that supports the objectives of the YHDP programme.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, NHS organisations, Combined Authorities, emergency services, and other public service stakeholders across Yorkshire & Humber.
- Organise and facilitate events, workshops, roundtables, and learning sessions that enable collaboration and shared practice.
- Support communication of programme updates, opportunities, and achievements through newsletters, briefings, social media, and online channels.
- Identify and showcase examples of good practice, case studies, and learning from across the region and beyond.
- Gather stakeholder feedback and insights to help shape the direction and priorities of YHDP.
- Support member organisations to make the most of YHDP opportunities, resources, and communities of practice.
- Represent iNetwork at regional and national meetings, forums, and conferences where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with the iNetwork partnership office to ensure alignment with wider network activity and member benefits.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is a natural communicator and relationshipbuilder, confident engaging with a wide range of people across the public sector. You’ll bring experience in stakeholder engagement, partnership development, or communitybuildingideally within digital, data, transformation, or public service environments.
You will be comfortable facilitating workshops, hosting events, and helping organisations connect and collaborate. You’ll be well organised, able to manage multiple workstreams, and capable of working independently as well as part of a supportive team.
A passion for improving public services, and an interest in digital and data innovation, will help you thrive in this role. Most importantly, you’ll bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and a commitment to helping public service colleagues across Yorkshire & Humber deliver better outcomes for the communities they serve.
