Salary: Grade J. Scale 40 - £51,356 to Scale 43 - £54,495 with a professional bar at Scale 41 - £52,413**
Hours Per Week: 36 hours

The Role

Tameside has a number of significant growth projects that are being taken forward. These include the 2,150 homes at Godley Green Garden Village, the Ashton Moss employment site with capacity to deliver 1m sqft of commercial floorspace for advanced manufacturing uses, the Ashton Town Centre / St Petersfield mixed use regeneration schemes and other significant town centre regeneration projects.
These growth projects will deliver significant benefits including affordable housing, substantial infrastructure to improve connectivity, social value outcomes, unlocking private sector investment and expertise, alongside the revitalisation and re-imagination of Tameside’s town centres.
Reporting to the Major Projects Manager and your role specifically will be to help drive forward the delivery of Tameside’s ambitious proposals for the Ashton and Stalybridge Mayoral Development Corporation (MDC) as a national exemplar of transport led regeneration and projects in both town’s to support the Council’s corporate objectives for growth.
About You
You will be educated to degree level
You will have experience of successful delivery of projects and programmes with private/public sector Interface on time and within budget. You will have experience of undertaking negotiations on development agreements, strong commercial awareness and detailed understanding of business principles, practices.
You will be able to work effectively in range of multi-agency and partnership settings to support delivery of investment and development schemes
You will be able to work at pace with enthusiasm engaging with and influencing stakeholders.
