Job Introduction We have an exciting opportunity for an aspiring or developing manager to join our Children, Families & Learning Business Support Team as a part-time Business Support Coordinator for 18 hours per week. Based at Dakota Building, 11 De Havilland Drive, Weybridge, KT13 0YP, this varied and rewarding role offers a starting salary of £17,330 per annum Pro Rata to £34,660 FTE. You'll play a key role in supporting colleagues and projects across Surrey, so a willingness to travel within the county is essential. The defined working hours for this role are: Wednesday 13:30 – 17:00 and Thursday & Friday 08:50 - 17:00 Whilst you won't be required in the office 3 days a week, you will be required in the office a minimum 1 day per week. You will manage and develop a team of administrators to deliver a high quality and efficient service to support in delivering the overall aim of the service; to improve outcomes for children. You will be highly organised, willing to take responsibility, use initiative and be comfortable in setting your own priorities and meeting deadlines. You will support with implementing process improvements to streamline and improve the performance of the administration service and increase customer satisfaction. Your Application In order to be considered for shortlisting, your application will clearly evidence the following skills and align with our behaviours : Have experience of guiding more junior staff Are keen to develop their management skills Have experience of overseeing team workloads and working to tight deadlines Have strong administrative and analytical skills, with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
