The Employee Experience Team is excited to be recruiting an Employee Experience Consultant to support us to continue to help all our staff thrive, grow and flourish in their careers.

About the Team
The Employee Experience team uses our expertise in workforce Wellbeing and Equality to champion a workplace where no-one is left behind and where everyone is valued and respected. As a Team we prioritise our wellbeing, and work in a hybrid way, with an expectation that staff work, on average 2 days per week in one of our many offices across the county, providing the opportunity to regularly work together. We support flexible working and would welcome applications from those seeking part-time positions.
About the Role
As an Employee Experience Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering the Council’s workforce wellbeing and equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) projects, helping to drive the Employee Experience Action Plan and People Strategy forward. You’ll also be able to provide subject matter expertise, advice and guidance on wellbeing and EDI matters, drawing on recognised best practice, evidence-based interventions, the Public Sector Equality Duty and the Equality Act 2010.
In this varied role, you will support our network of First Aiders for Mental Health and Inclusive Staff Networks, helping to foster a positive, inclusive and supportive working environment. You will also deliver wellbeing and EDI training, lead wellbeing and inclusion programmes, and create bespoke resources that meet the needs of our diverse workforce.
Alongside this, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our Wellbeing and EDI Hubs, ensuring employees have access to high-quality information, resources and support that enhance their experience at work and contribute to a culture where everyone can thrive.

Experience of supporting EDI and/or wellbeing initiatives or programmes
Project management experience
Experience of stakeholder collaboration
Knowledge and understanding of employee experience trends and best practice, including wellbeing and EDI
Facilitation and/or training experience
