We are excited to be hiring two highly motivated and engaging System Development and Training Officers to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Systems Training Team based at Victoria Gate in Woking. This is a hybrid role and officers attend offices across the county on a regular basis to support Children’s Service colleagues and stakeholders with the development and delivery of system training. The team works across Children’s Social Care, Early Help and Education services, supporting and delivering training on children’s case management systems, enabling practitioners to undertake their work in supporting children and young people. As a System Development and Training Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of statutory and strategic transformation initiatives by equipping staff with the knowledge and confidence to use our systems effectively and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programmes that enable employees to confidently use Children’s Services systems and technologies. You will work closely with system development and support services, system owners, project teams, subject matter experts, and end users to develop learning solutions that improve capability, increase user adoption, and deliver benefits to children and young people. Working within the Children’s Services System Development, Training and Support Service, you will operate in an agile environment to support the implementation and optimisation of digital systems. Your focus will be on: Designing, developing, and delivering system and process training for employees at all levels Creating engaging learning materials, including user guides, quick reference guides, videos, webinars, and e-learning content Supporting system implementations and upgrades through training needs analysis and training delivery Assessing learner competence and gathering feedback to continuously improve training programmes Maintaining training records and reporting on training effectiveness Working with stakeholders to identify skills gaps and recommending learning solutions Providing coaching and floor-walking support during system rollouts Ensuring training content remains accurate, current, and aligned with business processes This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who: understands case management systems (e.g. Liquidlogic), has strong problem-solving and communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach that can engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
