The role is responsible for driving high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, achieving performance targets, and ensuring full compliance with funding, awarding body and regulatory requirements. You will oversee quality assurance and continuous improvement activities, manage our apprenticeship delivery partner, and provide leadership to Trainer Assessors and Internal Quality Assurers. Working closely with employers, partners and internal teams, you will support the development of a sustainable apprenticeship offer while promoting a strong culture of safeguarding, inclusion and learner support. The role also includes contributing to the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and being an active member of SAL's safeguarding team. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of apprenticeship programmes. Ensure high standards of quality, performance and compliance across all provision. Manage the apprenticeship delivery partner and monitor quality and contractual requirements. Provide leadership and line management to Trainer Assessors and Internal Quality Assurers. Contribute to the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and quality improvement processes. Develop effective relationships with employers, partners and internal stakeholders. Promote safeguarding, inclusion and learner wellbeing, including participation in SAL's safeguarding team. Your Application In order to be considered for shortlisting, your application will clearly evidence the following skills and align with our behaviours : Experience within apprenticeships or workplace learning, ideally in Further Education Strong understanding of quality frameworks, Ofsted expectations and compliance requirements Ability to lead, motivate and develop staff, using a coaching approach Experience of planning programmes, managing performance, and analysing data Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Confidence in managing budgets or contributing to financial planning A relevant qualification and/or significant experience in the sector is expected.
