T he starting salary for this role is £56,439 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week. This opportunity is a 6 month secondment. We are seeking a motivated and confident practitioner to step into the role of Assistant Team Manager to support the delivery of the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) Project. This role provides the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities within a fast‑paced project environment, working closely with the Team Manager to ensure effective oversight, timely case progression and high‑quality practice across the team. The role includes contributing to quality assurance, supporting safeguarding activity, monitoring performance, and ensuring consistent, strengths‑based and person‑centred practice. You will also work collaboratively with internal and external partners to support smooth operational delivery. Your Application In order to be considered for shortlisting, your application will clearly evidence the following skills and align with our behaviours : Recognised Social Work, OT, Nursing or Allied Health qualification (with relevant registration) Strong practice experience within adult social care Ability to support complex casework, risk management and safeguarding Clear, confident and professional communication skills Ability to work collaboratively across teams and partner agencies Strong organisational, analytical and problem‑solving skills Ability to supervise, support and guide staff in day‑to‑day practice To apply, we request that you submit a CV and you will be asked the following 2 questions: Tell us about a time when you had to communicate important or complex information to someone who had communication difficulties and/or their family or advocate.
