The starting salary for this full-time, permanent position is £34,660 per annum based on a 36 hour working week. We are excited to be hiring a new Business Support Coordinator to join our fantastic Secretariat Team. This varied and interesting role is based in our Woking office: Victoria Gate, but attendance at our Reigate office; Woodhatch Place, will be required once per week. The position is offered on a hybrid-working basis with the expectation that you will be in the office at least two days a week. Services are delivered directly to children and their families within extensive statutory frameworks and staff working in these areas need specialist knowledge in order to deliver effective services to these high risk and high need groups. This role is based within our Secretariat Team, which is our centre of excellence for meeting support and note taking and who arrange multi-agency panels to discuss care packages and costings for children and young people. Our outstanding Business Support service underpins the work of the frontline practitioners. This role will work closely with senior management, supporting them with the information required to help them make decisions on the placement of, and care packages for, our looked after children. Our team supports Social Care and Safeguarding staff and this role will work closely with the Business Support Manager to provide high quality and timely support. You will manage and develop a team of Administrators to deliver a high quality and efficient administration service to assist in delivering the overall aim of the service: to improve outcomes for children, and ensure no-one is left behind. You will be highly organised, willing to take responsibility and use initiative, and be comfortable in setting your own priorities to meet deadlines. You will lead the way in assessing and implementing process improvements to the performance of the Administration service and help to increase customer satisfaction. Your Application In order to be considered for shortlisting, your application will clearly evidence the following skills and align with our behaviours : Experience of guiding more junior staff and overseeing team workloads High level administrative skills Excellent written and spoken communication skills with the ability to build key relationships Confident, organised and proactive approach Excellent IT skills and proficient in using Microsoft Office Experience of working with highly confidential information in a customer focused environment A basic DBS ‘Disclosure and Barring Service’ check for regulated activity (formerly known as CRB) will be required for this role.
