We are pleased to be recruiting a Cycle Training Supervisor to join our Cycle Training team. The team works on a hybrid basis, combining office and home working, with an expectation of approximately 2 days per week in the office.

About the Role
We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Cycle Training Supervisor to help deliver a busy and rewarding training programme across Surrey. Our service delivers cycle training to over 11,000 people each year, helping them to travel safely and confidently.
We are a small, supportive team delivering a busy service, managing a wide range of enquiries and requests that need to be handled efficiently and professionally.
In this varied and hands-on role, you will:
Coordinate cycle training sessions, including allocating instructors and managing changes
Act as a first point of contact for schools, parents and the public, handling enquiries by phone and email
Monitor course bookings to ensure courses are filled
Prioritise and manage a varied workload, ensuring enquiries and tasks are handled efficiently and within deadlines
Support the wider team with planning, meetings and continuous improvement of the cycle training offer
Manage administrative processes such as pay claims, expenses, purchase orders and invoicing
Support instructor development, including Continuing Professional Development, mentoring and quality assurance
Support recruitment of Cycling Instructors, including shortlisting and interview activities
Help organise and promote community cycle training offers
Work with partners to increase participation, particularly among underrepresented groups
Visit training sessions and, where required, deliver cycle training to provide operational cover (training provided)

Experience of working in a busy, customer-focused environment, managing a high volume of enquiries and tasks
Strong organisational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise competing demands
Experience of using IT systems and online applications to manage bookings, schedules, or workflows
Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders (e.g. schools, parents, colleagues) by phone and email
Ability to ride a cycle confidently on roads
