We have a great opportunity to join our Crisis Service team as a Lead Behaviour Support Worker.
We support hybrid working with the right balance. We come together in person for 2 days per week on average.

About The Role
In this role, you will support and line manage our Behaviour Support Workers to develop a consistent approach to induction and training. You will also support the Team manager in development of the service and day to day operations.
As a Lead Behavioural Support Worker, you will hold a small but more complex case load, taking the lead with completing basic functional assessments. You will create systems of support around the child, young person and their family. In addition, you will assure quality and a high standard of intervention and recording, as well as consistency of support plans, within the team. This role will involve working alongside the children’s social work team, ICB and health and education services.

Experience of working in a team that supports children and young people who are Autistic, have additional needs and/or behaviours of concern
An ability to provide supervision, support and identify work plans / direct work and representation at professional meetings
Flexibility and ability to complete direct work with children and families in their homes and the community
A qualification or evidence of training in Positive Behaviour Support and Basic Functional Assessment
