The starting salary for this role is £41,585 per annum, working 36 hours per week.
We have a great opportunity to join our Finance team as a Senior Finance Analyst supporting our Adults Wellbeing and Health Partnerships directorate. We support hybrid working with the right balance. The Finance service aim to work in an office for 40% of our working week, and we support working from home the rest of the time. The designated office base is Woodhatch Place in Reigate, however our team works across Reigate, Weybridge and Woking.

About the Role
A typical day in this role could see you producing insightful financial analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and working closely with Finance Business Partners to help manage budgets within Adult Social Care. You’ll contribute to improving financial processes, ensure high‑quality information is available to support informed decision‑making, and respond to ad‑hoc queries as they arise. There will also be opportunities to get involved in project work, giving you exposure to a broad range of financial challenges across the organisation.
The role works in partnership with other Senior Finance Analysts in the team managing workload between you and supporting each other when deadlines arise. The role will also see you working collaboratively with partners in the NHS and would suit someone who is keen to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of the Surrey Population.
Over the next 12–18 months, you will be involved in the ongoing budget management of the Better Care Fund a joint fund with the NHS of over £100m in Surrey, working to ensure Surrey County Council closes its financial position robustly. You will also play a key role in supporting the transition, helping to ensure the new East and West Surrey authorities are established on a strong and sustainable financial footing.
In this role, you will support the aims of the Health and Wellbeing Board through the effective delivery of the Better Care Fund, helping to ensure financial oversight and alignment with strategic priorities.
