Stopford House will be the base but the post-holder will be expected to be in schools and settings within Stockport for most of the time

Your Role
We are looking to recruit an excellent Early Years practitioner to join our skilled Early Years Improvement Team. The post-holder will provide professional advice to schools and settings to support them in their delivery of a high standard of education for all children including those with SEND.
About You
You should have qualified teacher status (QTS) and experience in working within EYFS, preferably in both schools and settings.
You will need to be committed to delivering the highest standards of education for all children within the Early Years, with the relevant knowledge and leadership skills to support our settings and schools to achieve this.
You should be flexible, well organised and responsive. You will need to meet the needs of settings and schools, as well as the requirements of the LA and the service.
You will be required to work in accordance with the council’s values.
You will also be required to work within the arrangements set out by Stockport Safeguarding Children Partnership to promote the safeguarding and welfare of children 0-5 years.
Above all, you will help remove barriers so that all children in the settings that you support can thrive and have every opportunity to succeed.
