Your Role

Due to additional temporary funding there is an opportunity for a Referral and Information officer to join the Front Door Team of Adult Social Care. The post holder will be working as part of a team who are the first point of contact for enquires to Adult Social Care, providing a responsive and effective service and ensuring all customer contacts are handled in a professional and appropriate manner.

You will specialise in handling referrals and information related to the Making Every Adult Matter programme.

About You

We are looking for a self-motivated person, who can work within a fast-paced environment, with previous customer service experience and excellent communication skills.

About Us

Due to securing funding over a three-year period for the Making Every Adult Matter programme, an opportunity has arisen for a Referral and Information Officer post within the Adult Social Care Front Door Team.

This is a Multi-Disciplinary Team made up of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Social Care Officers, and Referral and Information Officers.

Our aim is to ensure the residents of Stockport are able to lead a gloriously ordinary life whether this be with support from others or through providing accurate and helpful information and advice.
