at Bramall Hall, working pattern includes working alternate weekends.
1 x 22.5 hour post,
3 days per week, combined Hat Works and Staircase House, working pattern includes working every Saturday.

Your Role

We are seeking experienced, reliable, and creative people to join our team. Our Museums Assistants are the first point of contact for all visitors to our Museums. Main duties will include providing a welcome to the venue, answering enquiries, handling bookings, delivering activities and engaging visitors in our museums and collections in person and online.

About You

You will require excellent customer service and organisational skills and have the ability to assist with the day-to-day security, maintenance and operation of the site. The postholders should also have experience in delivering activities, demonstrations and tours and handling retail sales and other financial transactions.

Stockport Museums operate Stockport Air Raid Shelters, Bramall Hall, Hat Works, Stockport War Memorial Art Gallery, Staircase House and Stockport Museum.
