Your Role

This is an exciting time to join the Children with Disabilities (CWD) Service in Stockport as we continue to grow and develop our offer to children and families. We are seeking to recruit a Team Leader who will work collaboratively alongside the existing CWD Team Leader to manage our mixed teams of Social Workers and Short Breaks Coordinators.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader with a strong passion for working with children with disabilities and a clear commitment to achieving excellent outcomes through effective multi agency working. The successful candidate will be able to lead with confidence, drive positive change, and consistently champion the voice of the child, ensuring it is heard and valued regardless of ability.

About Us

It is an exciting time to join the Children with Disabilities Service in Stockport. We have invested significantly in the service to ensure there is additional leadership and strategic focus on the specialist skills that CWD social workers need for our most vulnerable children in Stockport. We are also reviewing our commissioning strategy to ensure we have the right provision at the right time for children, with a big focus on the Preparation for Adulthood agenda. You will join a large team and work collaboratively with another CWD Team Leader. You will have a high level of support from a dedicated CWD Service Lead and DSCO and an array of leadership development opportunities in Stockport.
