Our Technology and Digital Services team is looking for a passionate and dedicated Property & Assets Application Manager to join our amazing team and help make a difference today.
What You'll Be Doing
As the Property & Assets Application Manager, you'll lead the support, maintenance and continuous improvement of key property services applications. You'll work closely with operational teams, suppliers and senior stakeholders to ensure systems remain reliable, effective and aligned to business needs.
You'll play a vital role in managing application performance, resolving complex technical issues, overseeing upgrades and enhancements, supporting integrations and APIs, and helping shape the future development of the council's property and asset management systems.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a collaborative and proactive applications specialist who can combine technical expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills.
You'll bring:
- Strong knowledge of property, repairs or asset management systems.
- Experience managing, supporting and improving corporate business applications.
- Good understanding of IT operational best practice, including ITIL principles.
- Experience working with SQL databases, system integrations and APIs.
- The ability to troubleshoot, own and resolve complex application support issues and the user experiene
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage colleagues at all levels.
- Experience working effectively with senior stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Ability to share knowledge with colleagues to cover during busy periods, or when absent
- The ability to manage priorities, coordinate work and drive service improvements.
- A degree qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience documenting system knowledge, support processes and configuration to improve service resilience and support handover across a team.
