The role

We're looking for a talented and motivated Applications Analyst – D365 & Power Platform to join our Technology & Digital Services team and play a key role in supporting and enhancing our Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform services.
At Southwark Council, you'll use your knowledge of Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot agents and other applicable platforms to help drive innovation, automation and digital transformation across one of London's most vibrant and diverse boroughs. What you'll be doing:
As an Applications Analyst, you will be responsible for the delivery of services, support, maintenance and project activity across the council's Dynamics 365 CRM and wider Microsoft Power Platform estate.
Working as part of a team of specialist analysts, you will support and develop key business applications, helping to ensure services remain reliable, efficient and continuously improved. You'll contribute to support and maintenance activities, work on system enhancements and project delivery, and help ensure an effective service is provided across the application portfolio.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the council, sharing knowledge and expertise through documentation and team support, while developing a broad understanding of related systems to help maintain service resilience. You'll also support the ongoing adoption of AI-enabled capabilities, including Microsoft Copilot agents, in line with governance and security requirements.

What we're looking for
- Detailed technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform administration
- Experience of managing, supporting and troubleshooting business applications
- A good understanding of basic Azure administration
- Experience working with data and reporting from corporate systems
- Knowledge of supporting the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities, including Microsoft Copilot agents
- The ability to ensure Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments operate efficiently and effectively to meet business requirements
- Experience providing high-quality support services and resolving issues within agreed timeframes
- A commitment to following Microsoft best practice and maintaining clear documentation
- Experience supporting upgrades, releases and business application changes, including configuration and low-code development
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with users and technical colleagues
- The ability to provide training, support and guidance to users of Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and professional development
