These roles involve being a key worker for a young person providing the support and interventions young people need so that they can achieve their aspirations in life. You will work within a defined culture and intervention practice model and will adopt a solution focussed and restorative approach.
The post holder will support young people and will provide all aspects of care needs and interventions, in line with the young people’s Care Plans and develop effective action plans with a focus on reducing risks and building on strengths. Key working is integral to the post; working ‘with’ young people to develop their resilience and life skills to enable them to successfully manage the transition to return to family, foster care or to live independently in the community. There is an opportunity to study for a QCF Diploma in residential child care.
