As an Early Years Practice Lead in the Family Assessment Support Team you will predominantly work with pregnant women who have an identified vulnerability early on in pregnancy. We have a 21 hour vacancy to recruit to and this will ideally be worked over three days per week.

Your role will be to break down barriers with services, gather information, support with preparations for birth and if required, offer practical parenting support.

You will deliver support for parents around all elements of having a baby using evidence-based practice and up to date guidance. The role requires you to be flexible in your approach and the ability to work creatively to achieve the best possible outcomes.

You will have at least three years experience of working with vulnerable children, young people and families and ideally have experience of working with pregnant women and babies.

We are looking for a practitioner who is experienced in safeguarding vulnerable children and who has knowledge of relevant Working Together legislation. Some out of hours work may be required.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
