We are looking for a Service Manager to lead a key portfolio with Housing Services, covering Leashold, Right to Buy, Recharges & Recovery, and Purchasing and Payments (P2P)
This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality,customer focussed services, strenthening financial performance, and driving continous improvement across a complex service area.
You will lead teams responsible for:
- Leasehold Management
- Right to Buy delivery and compliance with legislation
- Rechargeable repairs and debt recovery
- Purchacing and payments processess (P2P)
- Supporting community heating customers to manage payments and maintain affordable, sustainable arrangements
You will ensure services opperate effectivly and efficiently, strengthening perfromance, income collection and customer experience, while working closely with partners across the Councils housing, financial and operational services.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
