About the Role
Future Options Provider Services are expanding, and we are looking for motivated, enthusiastic Provider Services Workers (PSWs) to join our Enablement Team. You will work with adults aged 18–65 who have Learning Disabilities (LD), Physical Disabilities (PD), Mental Health needs (MH), and/or Autism, supporting them to develop practical skills for independent living.
Your work will focus on what matters most to the individual – helping them achieve their personal goals around:
- Living independently at home
- Accessing volunteering, training, or paid employment
- Getting out and about in the community
- Building confidence and social connections
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Provider Services Worker, you’ll offer tailored support in a variety of settings including people’s homes, workplaces, and community spaces. This may include:
- Supporting individuals to learn everyday life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and managing finances
- Encouraging confidence, choice, and independence
- Supporting access to education, volunteering, or employment opportunities
- Working creatively with individuals to follow person-centred support plans
- Working independently while also contributing positively as part of a supportive team
You’ll work city-wide, so flexibility is important. This job entails lone working but has a great team spirit.
A car is helpful but not essential.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
