Facilities Officer

We are looking to recruit an individual that has excellent AutoCAD skills along with an interest in GIS Mapping technology and / or Databases and Data Analysis to fill our position of Facilities Officer – Data Management.
The post is a permanent, full-time post within a small team who are responsible for the maintenance and development of the Council’s property management database.
What you’ll be doing
- CAD Drawing updates as required to support facilities management work stream programmes
- Data verification and synchronisation with the property management database
- Site visits to draw up built asset plans and establish site boundaries.
- Production of accurate and complete drawing to the required specification.
- Resolving inbound queries relating to CAD
- Collation of work programme using appropriate job logging software
- Amendments to site boundaries as appropriate in GIS
- Production of maps in GIS as required
- Resolve GIS and boundary queries as appropriate
- Collection, collation and analysis of data
- Produce training materials as required
What we’re looking for
- Extensive experience measuring built assets and producing accurate and complete drawings to set specification using AutoCAD
- Experience or an interest working with Mapping software
- Excellent management skills, with problem solving attributes along with being enthusiastic, confident, and well organised.
- Knowledge of facilities management and statutory requirements for the maintenance of buildings including asbestos, fire regulations, legionella and security systems
- Experience or an interest working with Data

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
