We are looking to recruit a Senior Technical Solution Architect to work on our existing Infrastructure team for a period of 30 months.

This role will support the Council with their ICT and Digital transformation on a number of key pieces of work. The role will involve the creation of solution designs as well as following the relevant governance and approval processes. Equally there will be a requirement to respond to and resolve incidents at a third line level across multiple pieces of software / infrastructure components and disciplines.

Required skills and experience -

Extensive experience of support and implementation of M365 apps and associated admin portals.
Extensive experience of supporting Microsoft Azure.
Extensive experience of migrating infrastructure and systems from on premise to the cloud.
Extensive experience of hybrid infrastructure
Extensive experience of endpoint management including software deployment, creation of build images and security.
Extensive experience of MECM / Intune for endpoint management / security / software deployment.
Extensive experience of making use of the tools / features and software included with Microsoft E5 licenses.
Extensive experience of using Active Directory and Group Policy Administration
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience of working in an Enterprise ICT environment following ITIL best practice.

Experience of using the tools associated with Entra Suite.
Experience of using and managing proxy solutions.
Experience of using VMware
Experience of using various backup solutions.
Experience of supporting and implementing PKI infrastructure.
Experience of using Autopilot.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
