    • Clearing walkways of waste.
    • Cleaning bin rooms and rotating bins.
  • Remove graffiti and hazardous items (e.g., syringes) where necessary.
  • Occasionally enter properties to access chute systems.

  • Attend occasional meetings outside normal office hours.
  • Work one weekend in every four as part of the rota.

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent customer care, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good understanding of ICT and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.

Why Join Us?

  • Generous holiday entitlement.
  • Flexible working options, including part-time or job share.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion – we welcome applications from under-represented groups including Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic, Disabled, and LGBTQ+ communities.
  • Support for staff with unpaid caring responsibilities.
  • Disability Confident Scheme – disabled applicants who meet essential criteria are guaranteed an interview.

We are investing in our workforce and are promoting opportunities to our under-represented groups.  We value equality, diversity and inclusion and are focused on increasing the diversity of our workforce, particularly the number of Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic, Disabled and LGBTQ+ people, so that our teams reflect the communities in the city we serve.
