Salford City Council
Fixed Term Maternity leave Cover until July 2027
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Help School Co-ordinator to play a key role in the continuing development of the Team Around the School Model with partners across Salford. The successful candidate will have experience of leading projects and a commitment to and understanding of the delivery of early help services across the early help system.
Do you want to be part of a creative forward-thinking service which works collaboratively with schools and other partners in Salford?
Salford Early Help Service is a service at the heart of the Local Authorities' commitment to support families in the early stages, preventing their needs escalating to a higher level.
School Co-ordinators are key to the strategic development of the Team Around the School. This work aims to bring together key partners such as Early Help, School Attendance Team, Educational Psychology, 0-19 Health Services, and Police with Schools to align services and support for children and young people.
This will enable more efficient and effective allocation of resources for partners and enable children, young people and their families to get right support from the right person at the right time and in the right way for them.
As a School Co-ordinator you will also be integral to the development of a range of partnership responses to support key priorities and to enable early help in schools to effectively meet emerging challenges across the City.
This role is crucial in supporting our continuing journey in the implementation of the Team Around the School model and to continue to improve outcomes for children and families in Salford. You will need to be passionate about working with children, young people and families and have experience in service co-ordination.
