Salford City Council is very pleased to be offering the post of Heritage Partnership and Engagement Officer.

The Heritage Partnership and Engagement Officer (HPEO) will play a pivotal role in transforming Salford’s heritage sector by building capacity, fostering inclusive engagement, and developing strategic partnerships.

You will support the delivery of the Joining the Dots Project, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund placing heritage at the heart of Salford’s cultural strategy and centenary celebrations. You will report to the Strategic Heritage Lead but will work collaboratively across the City Council and its community partners.

Salford is a City with a rich heritage which is a source of local pride to many in its communities and contributing to the City’s character and identity. We are looking for someone who will be enthusiastic about the City and its heritage and be a strong link to our wider community.

This is a full time, two year fixed term position funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
