An excellent opportunity has arisen to appoint a Practice Manager within our Bridge Team.
About the Team
The Bridge Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is the central point of contact for all new referrals concerning children, young people and their families. Its purpose is to ensure that vulnerable children receive the right level of support at the right time, whether that involves early help services or statutory social work intervention, protection or care.
By bringing professionals together under one roof, The Bridge provides a faster, more coordinated and consistent response to safeguarding concerns. This integrated approach strengthens partnership working, improves accountability and enhances communication between agencies, ensuring that decisions are wellinformed and timely.
The Bridge Partnership represents an innovative model of safeguarding practice. It enables key safeguarding partners to work collaboratively, share information effectively and make joint assessments based on the level of needwhether early help, child in need, or child protection. This leads to quicker decisionmaking, more efficient use of resources and better outcomes for children and families.
The partnership includes a wide range of colocated professionals, such as Police, Health, Probation, CAMHS, a Threats to Life Officer, a Housing Officer and a dynamic Early Help team. Together, they provide a comprehensive, multiagency response that ensures vulnerable children and families receive the protection and support they need.
Your role will include:
- Oversight and management of the day to day delivery of all aspects of the Social Work team. Your role will have a focus on the quality and improvement of social work and service deliver
- You will ensure the service is facilitating effective participation of children, young people and families and that their lived experiences are known, understood and inform plans.
- You will be responsible for ensuring documentation, record keeping, accounting and communication is maintained, and effective information strategies and systems are in place to enable appropriate sharing of data and information. Including responding to complaints.
- You will ensure the regular and effective analysis, monitoring, measurement and maintaining of the performance of the team to ensure impact on outcomes for children and families is understood.
- You will be accountable to the Service Manager for staff supervision, care and development of the team.
