About the role

Rochdale's Brokerage Team plays a vital role in securing high-quality care and support for adults across the borough. Working across Residential and Nursing Care, Care at Home, and Supported Living services, Brokerage Officers are at the heart of ensuring residents receive the right support, at the right time, and in the right place.

About you

We're looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and solutions-focused, with the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be an excellent communicator, able to build positive relationships with providers, social care professionals, and colleagues.
  • Have strong negotiation skills and confidence in securing quality services that deliver value for money.
  • Be highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple referrals and deadlines.
  • Be resourceful and resilient, using initiative to overcome challenges and find creative solutions.
  • Have a customer-focused approach and a genuine passion for improving outcomes for adults requiring care and support.
  • Be a team player who contributes positively to a supportive and dynamic working environment.

Rochdale's Brokerage Team is a friendly, supportive, and highly motivated team that plays a vital role in Adult Social Care. We work closely with social work teams, providers, and partners to source high-quality care and support services that meet the needs of Rochdale residents.
