A bit about the Governance, Systems and Intelligence team:
The team provide support service across a varied field of activities ranging from performance intelligence,Governance and Funding and payments.
The role of Performance Data Officer is an exciting opportunity and we are looking for the right candidate who will be key in developing, analysing, interrogating and disseminating datasets and related research relevant to the service and providing recommendations and benchmarking information.
This is a critical role in the development of effective high-quality data and analytics for the service from writing system reports to presenting user friendly dashboards to demonstrate performance activity which will support the service with key decision making. This role supports continuous improvement of the service through the provision of performance information and analysis, reports and data dashboards. You will play a significant role in designing and developing a suite of reporting outputs including Power BI dashboards to support all levels of the business, supply timely insight into its activities and show initiative and curiosity in identifying issues and solutions.
You will need experience and skills in SQL and power BI along with subject knowledge, ability and positive attitude along with strong analytical and problem solving skills and experience developing data products, dashboards and reports that provide key detail and insight into the service.

- Eye for detail, with an advanced degree of quality control
- An attitude and persona that is able to motivate self and others you work with along with great team working skills
- Excellent organisational skills and an ability to plan and delivery timely outputs whilst dealing with deadline with multiple tasks and queries
- Excellent communication skills and able to work and build productive relationships with a wide range of people in Adult Care as well as within partner organisations
- Able to confidently use complex and multiple large databases, analyse and present information and recommendations accurately and effectively. You will have experience of extracting, cleansing and manipulating multiple and large datasets, SQL report writing and building Power BI intelligence dashboards
- Be passionate about using data and analytics to make a positive impact on people’s lives, supporting others to improve and interpret data and you will model and demonstrate our values and behaviours at all times.
- Be a flexible self-starter with an enthusiasm for tackling and finding solutions to problems and translating service and management information into clear and concise evidence based solutions that bring value and insight to service delivery and planning
- Advanced level of computer literacy including MS Office particularly excel and power BI.
- Logical and creative thinker with a willingness to learn
- Tenacity, patience and determination to continue when things are challenging including multi-tasking and working at pace
