Business Intelligence Analyst – Families First Partnership Programme

Rochdale Borough Council is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who can take a key role in the development and implementation of our Families First Programme.
Multi-agency safeguarding partners require appropriate evidence to understand the impact that changes made to front-line safeguarding practice are having, for example, that they are safe, effective and performing to a high standard.
The Business Intelligence Analyst role will work with safeguarding partners and internal colleagues to develop and implement performance management and outcome frameworks. Using those frameworks, the Analyst will deliver extensive and insightful data analysis. They will create and present regular reports that inform safeguarding partners about the efficiency and effectiveness of day-to-day practice and processes which will be used as part of a continuous cycle of improvement and to monitor the overall impact of the Families First Programme.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate their experience and expertise in data analysis within a relevant context. It is important that the person undertaking the role is technically proficient, able to engage easily and effectively with a wide range of colleagues with different backgrounds and professionalisms and enjoys being curious about data and associated processes leading data evaluation, solving problems, and uncovering key insights. Impact is crucial the work undertaken needs to make a positive difference.
As this is a temporary role, candidates are expected to ‘hit the ground running’ and be able to deliver high-quality work at a fast pace.
