An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Early Years SEND Support team (EYSENDST). This service includes Pre-School Home Visitors, Area SENCOs, Specialist Advisory Teachers and Specialist Teaching Assistants. The service provides specialist assessment, advice and support for children aged 0 to 5 years with a range of special educational needs and/or disabilities across all early year’s settings, including schools. The service support families to help meet their child’s full potential and settings to deliver their statutory duties, playing a key role in maintaining and improving the quality of provision and outcomes for young children.
As a Pre-School Home Visitor, you will be working with children and families primarily in their own homes and in group settings. providing advice and educational support for young children with the most complex SEN and medical issues, under the direction of the Team Manager for EYSENDST.
The position is part time, three days a week (usually Tuesday to Thursday, but some flexibility may be required at times), term time only.
