Community Health & Social Care Services in Redbridge

The London Borough of Redbridge and NELFT NHS Foundation Trust are looking for motivated, skilled individuals to join our multi-disciplinary teams. We are particularly interested in the role of:

  • Administrator in the First Contact Team – permanent, full-time (36 hours)

About Community Health and Social Care services in Redbridge

Our First Contact Team is the front door for information, advice, and support to our community, it provides a point of contact and access for clients, GP’s and associated Health and social care Professionals. We work in conjunction with the Community Health and Social Care teams and consist of district nurses, social workers, rehabilitation therapists, occupational therapists, MH workers, LD workers. We work in partnership with other health and social care teams such as specialist nursing or children services. This integrated way of working allows us to deliver high-quality person-centred services that meet the needs of the residents. Our services are innovative and rewarding for both clients and the workers.

Our First Contact Team is looking for an enthusiastic individual to help us to deliver:

  • High quality in processing and prioritising all referrals from multiple sources to direct them to the appropriate service for the care required.
  • Quality assurance in data recording; ensuring NHS number is on all referrals and all demographic data on referrals is accurate and current, by checking the National Spine and synchronising information on relevant databases.
  • Data processing, ensuring information received is correctly recorded and notifications of change and amendments are input into relevant databases promptly so that clinical services have access to up-to-date information.
  • High quality customer service in providing seamless service provision and participate in the smooth running of the First Contact Team.
