Teaching Assistant Course Leader
£42,771 - £45,750 per annum pro-rata
Part-time

You are a qualified teacher (DTLLS / PGCE / Cert Ed / Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training or equivalent) with substantial experience in school-based support roles, and you are confident teaching adult learners.

You will have a strong understanding of the Teaching Assistant role, including safeguarding, SEND, behaviour management and classroom support.

You are an inspiring practitioner with a strong commitment to learner success, bringing professional credibility and leadership experience to support high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.

You will demonstrate experience of leading teams, embedding digital learning, promoting inclusive practice, and championing safeguarding, equality and diversity.

You will also have a strong understanding of the Education Inspection Framework, internal quality assurance processes, compliance requirements, and awarding body standards. You will carry out work placement assessments alongside teaching, marking and feedback.
